IDEA TO ART
Narrowing down his ideas to just a few images, Paul develops his illustrations using a layout pad, refining them until his imagined aesthetic materialises on the page. From organic beginnings to a digital finish, Paul draws out his design using traditional mediums before reassembling each element in Photoshop and colouring in the different layers. For the illustrator, there is beauty in seeing the final piece appearing within the physical realm, coming to life off the screen.
